Katie Couric shares sweet throwback photo of her late husband on their 30th anniversary: 'I carry you in my heart'
Katie Couric paid tribute to her late husband, Jay Monahan, on Monday on what would have been their 30th anniversary.
The former TODAY show host shared a heartfelt message and the couple's wedding photos on Instagram to remember the special day.
Monahan passed away in 1998 at the age of 42 to colon cancer leaving behind his wife and two daughters, Carrie and Ellie.

'Dear Jay...It's June 10th 2019 and today would have been our 30th anniversary,' she shared.
'I hope you would be proud of the way I’ve lived my life and know you'd be proud of your girls who have grown into incredible young women,' she wrote with the photos.
'I think you would like @johnmolner who honors your memory and knows there is room in my heart for you both.
With
