Stefan Bibrowski (1891-1932) was a German circus performer of Polish descent who gained fame as an actor in freak shows during the early 20th century.
Due to a rare condition known as hypertrichosis, his entire body, including his face, was covered in long hair, earning him the nickname "Lionel the Lion-Faced Man."
Early Life and Childhood
Bibrowski was born near Warsaw, Poland in 1891, and at birth, his entire body was covered in hair measuring approximately 2 cm in length.
