Masaaki Imai (今井 正明, Imai Masaaki), –, was a Japanese organizational theorist and management consultant known for his work on quality management, specifically on kaizen.
Known as the father of Continuous Improvement (CI), Masaaki Imai has been a pioneer and leader in spreading the kaizen philosophy all over the world.[1][2][3]
