Usama Al-Atar

12th Imam is the only Imam born in Iraq. Only other Imam/Masumeen that wasn’t born in Makkah or Medinah.

He was born in Samara, Iraq.

The Abbasi dynasty – the Abbasi’s really tightened the movement of the Imams from 6th Imam onwards.
They knew 11th Imam was going to have a son that would be a great leader.
They decided when he was born, they would kill him – similar to what Firon wanted to do to Prophet Musa.

To save Musa – when his mother became pregnant – there was no sign that she was carrying a baby.

So Allah protected Musa. Until the day she delivered. She delivered at her house, and no one knew she was pregnant.

The Abbasi Caliph therefore put spies in 11th Imam’s house to see which of his wives would become pregnant, and they would wait till she gave birth, and if it was a boy they would kill it.
